What if you start again?

After a certain age people feel that we have traveled a path that has allowed us to learn, grow and obtain certain achievements in our lives, many of which, after reaching them, we greatly expect to be able to maintain. There is nothing wrong with this “clinging” to what we have obtained, however, in many occasions it could be the same as embracing a lead life preserver, and we end up sinking in what we have already achieved, for fear of “losing”.

This situation, which happens to most people at more than one point in their lives, may partly explain why it is so hard for us to open our hand, let go and launch ourselves into something new. Personally, I believe that starting over is a wonderful opportunity that we always have at hand, even though we often think it is not so because we want to hold on tightly to what we have achieved.
Starting over gives us the possibility to use all the experiences and learnings to do things “better” than before, to choose what makes us more sense, to help us to enjoy our life differently and to build a new stage for our existence. Always clinging to the past helps us to preserve what we have achieved, but it also stops us from continuing to grow.
If you are thinking of making a change in your life, in your work, in your relationships, maybe you are questioning a million things before taking the step. It is perfect that you evaluate it well and carefully, but please, check well how much of what is holding you back is fear and how much is really a true adverse result. Maybe you will realize that the best thing you can do is to take the step in this new direction.
I invite you to think about it, meditate on it, but do not hold on to what is already part of your past, which will serve you as a learning experience and will be useful for what will happen in the future, but it will not be as good as what is yet to come. Taking the step with faith and conviction will help you to make the road better, and for that you must give yourself the chance to change. Do you dare to take the leap to your next challenge?
